Beatons Wellington Location Announced!

Yes! Beatons Tearooms and Bookshop is coming to Wellington and has confirmed that it will soon be opening its doors very soon in its new home at 17 Market Square, Wellington, Telford, Shropshire, TF1 1BU!

We are happy to announce exactly where you'll be able to find just the place for loose leaf tea, home-baked cakes and light meals, along with Beatons' special brand of gracious hospitality! That means table service, elegance and attentiveness - and a place in town where you can enjoy the whole English Afternoon Tea experience too.

Beatons also offers a carefully curated selection of books for sale, finding that even in the era of online shopping, books shine through as a product that people still want to browse at leisure; select and buy something they fall in love with. Beatons is delighted to adding this to what Wellington has to offer.  

Both Wellington’s franchise owner, Ghulam Khan and Beatons’ founder, Patrick Duffy have been taken by the spirit in Wellington and how many community based organisations there are; something that is embedded in the Beatons ethos.  

Beatons New Milton: born from heart and passion

Beatons New Milton - my Beatons - is now open! What a joy to see my mother's legacy turn into a living tearooms I know she would have delighted to be in! To find us, head straight from the Station down the main Station Road and we're a short way down on the left-hand side - look out for the Beatons pink 'A-Board' outside. Seven days a week you'll find me and my enthusiastic team bringing 'elegance to your table' in our stunning Sir Cecil Beaton inspired tearooms.

Please bear with us if we're a little slower than we would like over our first few days  - the team and I will be making friends with all the new equipment and processes to ensure you receive delicious food and drinks served 'The Beatons Way'.

Our house blend of loose-leaf tea is the fragrant and full of Spring green tea - 'Jasmine Blossom'. There are also over thirty others to choose from. Why not pop in and order a pot, along with a large slice of our signature Carrot Cake or award-winning Banana and Coffee Cake if you're gluten free?
What will you find inside? A welcome full of 'heart and passion' (the Beatons quality I've chosen as my particular favourite), table service and a menu which changes throughout the day - from 'break-feast' to Afternoon Tea with everything in between. And for those with special dietary preferences just ask for our 'Elegant Options' menu which we've created specially for you. We even do a gluten-free Afternoon Tea. 

For book-lovers who have been long awaiting a bookshop in New Milton, you'll also discover we have a small but an enticing selection of new books to purchase. We hope these will feed your mind, and possibly solve a present-buying dilemma.

Naturally, we have free wi-fi, an immaculate washroom and of course the morning paper.

What a pleasure it was to open my Beatons - Beatons Petersfield in October 2017. To find us, head from the Market Square towards The Heath and we're at 30 High Street. Seven days a week you'll find me and my enthusiastic team bringing 'elegance to your table' in our stunning Sir Cecil Beaton inspired tearooms.

We're Berkshire's Beatons Tearooms and Bookshop and delighted to have set up 'home' in the friendly village of Crowthorne. Like every Beatons, we're open 7 days a week. I'm Paul, and as Tearooms Owner it's a pleasure to invite you to experience what I particularly love about the 'Beatons Way': attentiveness.  Enjoy a pot of our house blend 'Nonsuch BOP' loose leaf tea and slice of our signature carrot cake brought to your table by members of our dedicated team.

'Nonsuch' originally meant 'beyond compare' - something we definitely aspire to being here in Crowthorne! You can find us just opposite Barclays Bank at the bottom end of the High Street.There's plenty of free parking if you turn left around the corner at the mini-roundabout and you can cut through, so we're nice and close to the car.

I'm Ben, and as Manager of Beatons Tearoom and Bookshop Blandford Forum I'm delighted to welcome you to our online 'home'. Grand Monsieur - for those who serve

Blandford Forum has some real treasures up its sleeves.  Of particular interest is Blandford Fashion Museum - a tardis-like building packed full of costumes and designer clothes and accessories. There's a thriving Public Library which hosts three writing groups and two 'Chatterbox' groups - all of which use poetry. We've also delighted to welcome our new neighbours 4ever Vintage next door.

Dorset is a very literary county too, as you'll see from our Dorset Authors page. And of course, Blandford has very strong links with the army - it's home to The Signals Regiment. We extend a special welcome to the residents - permanent and temporary - of Blandford Camp and even created our hearty Grand Monsieur in their honour!

I'm Harry, proud Manager of Beatons Tearooms and Bookshop Tisbury. It's an honour to look after our first Beatons and flagship tearooms in the village of Tisbury, Wiltshire.

'Elegance' is the quality we most like when it comes to Beatons' underlying qualities - unsurprising given that society fashion photographer Cecil Beaton inspired our name and interior styling. Elegance was critical to the mix when our founder Patrick Duffy first opened in 2011 and remains so as we expand nationally.

Come in and enjoy our house blend 'Cherry Sencha' - a beautifully fragrant loose leaf tea. We're open 7 days a week, 364 days of the year!

We are also the only Beatons so far to boast a Beatons Breakfast Stand Up Service from Tisbury Station where you can enjoy all our fine quality Italian coffees and a bacon roll to take with you on your commute to London!

This really is 'Cecil Beaton country' - he had two homes in the area. And Tisbury is also home to 'Beatons Central' - our main office HQ - and quite a few famous writers too [link to our Wiltshire Authors Page].

Beatons, with its pretty Terrace, nestling in the Market Square has become the hub of the village. It's the perfect starting place for lunch, tea or a slice of homemade cake (or all three!) - and one of the first places you'll encounter if you travel to Tisbury by train.

Around the Square are a cluster of independent shops with a focus on the arts and home that would make Cecil Beaton smile.

Countryside and Culture?  Of course, the Nadder Valley boasts some of the county's most varied and richly diverse country, and Wiltshire is still home to a veritable army of writers, journalists, artists and historians. Tisbury sits within Cranborne Chase AONB.
