Y is for YOU!

Who? You. Irrespective of your title age, gender, status or anything else, to us you are ‘Distinguished Guests’. Over the next few months in particular you’ll see us rolling out some new initiatives to honour you in our unique ‘Beatons Way’.

That means every one has to add to you having a restorative experience, enjoying generous value and, of course, being on the receiving end of our gracious hospitality.

What’s new for September?

For Distinguished Guests -- Recognising Patronage Properly!

Our old loyalty cards are being replaced by beautiful ‘Distinguished Guest Cards’ so you feel special no matter how many ‘stamps’ you have on them. We also want them to represent real ‘treasure in your wallet’. And they do and here’s why. Because once they’re filled, you’ll receive an invitation to introduce a friend to Beatons for a Complimentary Patron’s Cream Tea for two on us. To take advantage of this – you’re still welcome to have a free drink instead if you prefer – we’ll present you with a pretty invitation card to give to a friend. When you come in with him or her, hand in your card and we’ll treat you both to our Patron’s Cream Tea.

For Distinguished Book-Lovers

We believe books are worthy of their value which is why we don’t normally discount. However, we wanted to find a way to thank all our loyal book-lovers who support buying books offline from the high street. Our stylish new loyalty bookmarks which you’ll find at the till mean you get a huge 30% off your seventh book purchase as well as know what page you’re up to!

As newly appointed Book Ambassador for Beatons I’m looking forward to sharing some great ‘Book of the Month’ titles and we’ll also be flagging up our Past Books of the Months in case you missed them, with some snazzy new book categories to make buying easier and more fun.

In this fast-paced world which constantly makes demands on our time, it’s easy to put yourself second. I know when I do, I often end up giving second-best.  When I’ve given myself enough time, and feel well nourished its much easier to give of my best.

What one small thing might you give to yourself on a regular basis which would make you feel ‘on top of the world’? For me, it’s a cup of the finest coffee every morning – and as often as possible from ‘You Can Guess Where’!

P.S. There is another little initiative you might occasionally be positively surprised to discover. However, if I divulge it you won’t be surprised and that would deprive you of all the pleasure!
